Kefalonian Skippers
Kefalonian Skippers
I would appreciate it is someone could give me an identification for these three skippers seen on Kefalonia earlier this month. Is the first one is a Mediterranean Skipper?

Hi
The first one is for sure a Pygmy Skipper ( Gegenes pumilio ), the next one looks like a Orbed Red Underwing Skipper ( Spialia orbifer ) the last one I have to look at a little bit more

Thanks John.
I did wonder about Pigmy Skipper for the first one but the book I had with me said they were absent from Kefalonia! Mind you it also said Geranium Bronze weren't found there and they were very common!

Hi. Your last skipper is a sage skipper, Muschampia proto.
