Two more from the French Alps.
This first one was seen at 1,800m and was noticeably smaller than the usual suspects - carthami, alveus, armoricanus. It also has a very 'rusty' coloured hindwing underside. I think it might be carlinae:
This next one was larger and seen at 1,000m. The nearest match is bellieri:
