A very late sighting of a Large Skipper (female) on 3rd October in Broadbridge Heath, Sussex by Judith Alford. This is regarded as a rare second-brood individual. Photograph and report on the Sussex BC website http://www.sussex-butterflies.org.uk/sightings/

Several Holly Blues were seen near Heathrow, Middlesex on 31st October, including an egg-laying female. Reported by Dave Miller in his personal diary /viewtopic.php?t=6157&start=1400#p115255
