To enter the competition, please post a single image taken in 2015 Between 1st June and 1st October (1 post per member) as follows:
- Click on the "Gallery" link and then open the "Summer 2015" album (gallery/album.php?album_id=2583)
- Click the "NEW IMAGE" button
- Follow the instructions to upload a single image
To view the entries:
- Click on the "Gallery" link and then open the "Summer 2015" album (gallery/album.php?album_id=2583)
To edit or delete your entry, which you can do until 5th October:
- Select the "Moderate" link at the bottom of the image details
- Take the appropriate action
Please note that the entries are not anonymous when posted (they will be visible to all visitors), and that the judging will be conducted by a panel whose decision is final.
Please note that:
1. Subsequent comments on the result (in this thread) that try to undermine the judges' decision will be ignored.
2. Any critique should be constructive and the moderators reserve the right to remove any comments that are considered disrespectful.
3. Accusations that a photo has been artificially synthesised (e.g. using PhotoShop), without any evidence, will also be removed.

Whatever the result of the 2015 Summer Competition, the standard of the entries is quite astonishing. I'm sure that at least fifteen of the pix would have easily won the competition five years ago. Pity the poor judges having to sort that lot out...

I'm delighted to be on the podium, particularly when bearing in mind some of the outstanding entries. Even outside those listed as being in the mix, there are some belters. Congratulations to all, but particularly Goldenorfe. On this occasion I think the winner was clear from an early stage in the competition.
