Re: Annual 2014 Competition
Hi Pete,
Would a photo of 2 British butterflies in cop. go in the behaviour section or the UK butterflies section? Or could it be either?
Thanks
John

It could go in either - although there's more competition in the UK Butterflies category!
Cheers,
- Pete

Re: Annual 2014 Competition
Hi Mick,
I'm pretty sure that the maximum dimension (height, width or both) is currently 1200 pixels. The images posted all seem to be <1MB, so I suspect that's the maximum file size.
BWs, Neil

The limits are 1200 x 1200 pixels, and 2MB file size.

Thanks Neil & Pete.
Re: Annual 2014 Competition
I have just had a look at the entries so far and the judges are going to have a very difficult decision to make. I don't think I have seen so many great photos especially in the overseas category. I look forward to seeing the result. Much better than Strictly!!

Not only ageist but sexist. Always the man in front. More PC version required.
Come on you graffiti artists. Let's see men in turbans, woman in burkas, using smart phones. The sign needs to me MODERNISED.
Jack - an over 75 and deeply offended

(76 next month and don't you lot forget my birthday this time as you have these past five or more years

Re: Annual 2014 Competition
No offense intended Jack, just bouncing back on what I believe is a current topic in the UK (discriminatory signs
) gleaned from Sky News.
Down here in my Southern outpost I can just about pick up Sky News by satellite (the Astra 2B footprint has got smaller recently (has become 2F ?) and this is all the freeview I get now) (no more Tony Robinson on More4 - oh dear, what am I to do ?).
Here in France they would not understand British emotions surrounding a road sign - Napoleon would have prevented that .
There is no equivalent of this road sign in France as far as I know - perhaps its because the French resist ageing with a Mediterranean diet and by drinking 1 glass of red wine per day.
Which day is your birthday then Jack ? - so we can celebrate with you.
Mine also is in December (the 28th) but I'm 22 years behind you.
Chris

Count me in lads, mine is the 2nd December. How many more Sagittarian/Capricorn butterflyers want to join the party?

Re: Annual 2014 Competition
MINE IS 7th DECEMBER
Repeat:
MY BIRTHDAY IS 7th DECEMBER
Have you all taken note?

And please, I certainly take no offence taken over that sign. I have always found it rather amusing. But it IS a tad outdated.

Hello,
I have entered the under 16 photo competition, but have downloaded the wrong size images. Is it possible for me to edit them.
