Lots of BH snaps being posted at the moment; well done one and all.
I searched and searched a woodland edge in the sweltering heat this weekend on the off chance that I might see a BH. With Elders and blackthorn a plenty, I thought maybe, just maybe, but alas no.
I at last managed to catch up with a Brimstone and capture it on my mobile (!?!). I have seen many before but never managed to get a shot, so was particularly chuffed as this adds to my tally, despite it not being the most outstanding snap. However, I thought it was a great example of how amazing the camouflage is on these little blighters.
