At the start of this year's (2012) Big Butterfly Count, I set myself the challenge of finding, photographing and Blipping (blipfoto.com) a different species of butterfly (or one of the two eligible moths) for each of the 23 days of the count.

Thanks. With this year's poor summer, I am not sure that I would have succeeded in any other county. Dorset is a naturalists paradise and, living here, is a privilege we never lose sight of
