Well it's a start, whether I keep it up or not is another matter.
It's strange how you always get far more private messages, than on-line comments when you do a blog / diary.
Here's to a new begining.

Re: Gwenhwyfar
Made my first video! Very short and like Gary says, it looks like my pb has stuck it's self in an electrical socket.
It looked fine at high-res!! and when I up-loaded it, it cut off all my credits, it wouldn't be quite so bad, but that took me ages to figure out how to do it!
We were walking along thinking we were never going to see one, when Gary says 'Oh for a pb' it was really funny,
because at that point one flew past us!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1Yi2BfzTFA[/video]
We eventually saw
5 Pearl-bordered Fritillary
3 Grizzled Skipper
1 Red Admiral
2 Comma
2 Green-veined White
3 Brimstone
2 Large White
1 Peacock
1 Speckled Wood
also saw a Speckled Yellow Moth and several Green Tiger beetles.
Pics from the day.
One rubbish Grizzled, but it's always strange to see these in Bentley Wood.

Re: Gwenhwyfar
Yesterday I went to a wood somewhere in southern England
Was really pleased to see several Narrow-Bordered Bee Hawkmoth and at least one Broad-Bordered Bee Hawk moth. Managed to Get a few shots off, but never really nailed them, which was very dissapointing, so my only hope was to get one on film.
Sorry about the wind!
