Caterpillar ID please

Post by kevling »

Hello everyone,

I have found a caterpillar (1st-2nd instar and about 1cm in length) in a bouquet of flowers from the supermarket. May not be a British species, but unsure where flowers originated.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Kind Regards
Kev

It does resemble a Pyralidae or Crambidae moth cat but more than that I couldn't say.
