Butterflies as decorations

Brooches, patterns, logos, almost invariably depict butterflies in the 'set position' with wings spread.

I had an excellent opportunity today in a café to study an item that featured butterflies.
The wearer was - shall we say - of significant size.
I have no idea how many butterflies were used to create her 'tent'.
