Snapped this morning basking in the sunshine on my Samsung S21, F2.2 1/100 ISO50 no flash

Very well behaved lady! They normally won't keep still for a single second.

It's rare enough to see Dark Green Fritillaries in May, let alone Silver Washed!!

I see them around occasionally in this area (north of Woodbridge) around woodland fringes and the heaths, but usually they are so fast and fleeting.

There's purple hairstreaks around here too, but I'm yet to track one down.
