Hi Everyone,
I am planning trips at the end of May to catch up with the last of the species I have not seen in the UK.
One of these is the Wood White.
I would grateful for assistance in the most reliable sites to visit.
Thank you in advance
Kind Regards

Wood White Sites
Re: Wood White Sites
There are lots of them at Grafton Wood, Worcestershire Kev.
Re: Wood White Sites
Hi Kev - Chiddingfold Woods in Surrey near the Sussex border are a good reliable site too.
Cheers,

Re: Wood White Sites
Hello Kev,
I don't know where you are in the world but a site I visited last year to see them was Salcey Forest in Northamptonshire which I believe is very reliable. The best place to go would be to park in the horsebox car park and take the trail either way and you should see them very quickly, as I did.
Best of luck.

Re: Wood White Sites
I was planning on visiting the site in Cinderford mentioned in this section of the forum, how does it compare to the Worcestershire one?
Re: Wood White Sites
The site in Cinderford is a reliable one, Owen.
Happy to share details if you email me.

Re: Wood White Sites
There are millions in Grafton Wood, millions of them.
I am sure the Cinderford site is just as good, if not better.
I noticed the other day on Twitter that Wood White are already out in Grafton Wood.
