Orange-tip First Instar Larva

Orang-tip Larva First Instar larva on Garlic mustard.
"The larva has several rows of black warts along the length of it's body and each wart bears a long black hair that is adorned with a bead of clear liquid"

Q. Rather than eat the 1st Instar larva, or, and as well as ignore it, do ants harvest the clear liquid, from the back of the larva?
