Hi all,
Bit of a small beauty today from my neighbouring fields. Grass is getting pretty long there now.
Size-wise it was dwarfed by the golden skippers flying around it, but it was larger than the copious grass veneer moths present (certainly width-wise, maybe not too much larger length-wise).
Its eye and "face" look quite similar to the grass moths, but the snout is shorter.
Probably very common, but I don't recall seeing one before.
Cheers as always for any help.
