Does anyone know when a butterfly app will be developed with enough reference images, to identify a species, when taking a picture of a butterfly a bit like a flora identification app?

Hello Phil , take a look at these apps ,https://www.spinysoftware.com/nature-guides  I use the Europe version, there is also a UK version, also ther is one for birds and many other wildlife subjects, I find the Europe version useful for recording sightings that auto fills details, location etc, it also enable the user to add favourite pictures, all in all useful.
At under a tenner it won't break the bank.
