Annual 2020 Competition
The UK Butterflies 2020 Annual Photography Competition is now open for entries! In keeping with the online nature of the UK Butterflies website, the competition itself will be conducted entirely over the web. The competition closes on November 30th and the winning photos will be announced in early December.
Entering Your Photos
You must be a member of the UK Butterflies forums to submit your photos. To register, access the forums (index.php), click on the Register button in the top right of the menu bar, and then fill in your details. Your membership will be activated once it has been checked by an administrator, after which you can login.
Once you have logged in, you may contribute up to 3 photos in total, each of which should be placed in THIS THREAD (just 'Post Reply' and add your photos using the ''Add Files' button in the 'Attachments' tab below the text field). All photos must have been taken in the wild (and may have been taken outside of the UK, despite the name of this website!).
Judging
Judging will be conducted by an independent panel, and their decision is final. Please refrain from commenting on images that are posted until after the competition has closed.
Prize
The winner will receive a copy of the new edition of 'Britain's Butterflies' (https://www.dispar.org/reference.php?id=167).
Good luck!
Cheers,
- Pete

Im certainly not offended in the slightest, an you really shouldnt take it that way.
"The more the merrier" i say...this forum can only thrive/grow with more new UK Butterflies members.
If you were to delete your entry, because of my post(which was just an observation, an nothing more) then by deleting your entry...well...that could offend not only me, but probably others too.
Enjoy what UK butterflies has to offer, stick around, this forum is a great place for "one an all"

Cheers Paul.
