Pyrgus from Piedmont Alps

Just been sent these images. Sadly, we don't have an underside.

The butterfly was bigger than malvoides but smaller than the likes of carthami and alveus.

The upperside markings seem to perhaps suggest onopordi.

Any comments welcome.
