Unknown small grey caterpillar

Hi everyone,

Can anyone help me to identify this tiny little grey caterpillar spotted on my geranium today. I live in Eltham in SE London. I am considering if it is a larvae of something other than a moth or butterfly....

That is a hoverfly larvae, a gardeners buddy, one of many insect species that enjoy feasting on aphids :)
Some addictions are good for the soul!
