This is the most interesting sightings thread this year so far. There seems to be a lot happening on the Isle of Wight, almost as though it was part of the continent rather than the British Isles.

Wow, so many species that we don't get here in East Lothian. Great pictures. It's good to know that there are butterflies on the wing somewhere in the UK. I haven't seen a butterfly in 9 days!

Absolutely. I'm desperate to get out but it's only 11c in Swansea and pretty cloudy too.

Glanville Fritillary and Clouded Yellow seen on the same spring day. Can't be many places where that wouldn't be anything other than a once in a lifetime event.
You're having a great early season, Marmari. Hope high summer is just as kind.
