I am not very good at identfing Blues...... I'm thinking it may be a Common?

The chequering in the outer half of the fringe gives this away as Adonis blue (chalkhill has similar chequering but doesn't fly in May).

If this is a current photo, it must be an Adonis Blue. It would be nice to know when and where it was taken.

I just assumed it was recent - because to be honest it does look more like chalkhill.

I should have added it was taken this evening at Figsbury Ring, Wiltshire. I did see several more Adonis Blues but I thought this just looked slightly different.
