Hello all UKB'ers,
On my weekend wanderings I kept an eye out for Small Coppers, given the recent threads of abs and variants and found this little number.
It looks like it emerged but never completed the job; any thoughts welcome.

Re: A bent copper?
Looks like it was deformed within the pupa, or disturbed as it was inflating its wings. Either way - poor thing!

Re: A bent copper?
Looks like it was still capable of flight though so would be okay

Re: A bent copper?
It flew very well, so seemed un-phased which is good news.
