This one was photographed in our garden today. Only managed to get three shots of the underside but am undecided which Blue it could be. Can someone help please.
Thanks
Paul

Re: Blue?
Given for forewing upperside markings, I'd venture a guess that this is a female Chalkhill Blue. Any sites nearby?

Re: Blue?
Thanks for the replies - not sure if there are any Chalkhill sites locally, Pete. Certainly none within say 5 miles or so. Was thinking it could be a Common Blue (really didn't know though) but only ever seen a Holly Blue in the garden before (and its not one of those).
Thanks again

Re: Blue?
Now that I've "zoomed in" (don't know why I didn't before!) I can see the blue scaling and the red dots on the margin of the forewings upperside - so would agree this is a female Common Blue.
