It may be a silly question, but...
Does anyone know if any there any species found in Morocco that are NOT listed in our European literature; Tolman for instance.
Thanks for any advice.

Re: Morocco
This isn't actually an answer to your question, but it may be that Tshikolovets has a broader geographical range for North African species than Tolman, so I would check that first, from a bibliographical perspective?

Re: Morocco
Maybe worth checking the index in Tolman agains the list on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_th ... of_Morocco
Although the list may not be difinitive, at least it will give you an idea.

Re: Morocco
There's a very small number of species found in the Western Sahara which don't really belong to the European/Mediterranean or European/Atlantic fauna and are omitted from Tolman - for example, Pontia glauconome. Most of Morocco is European/Mediterranean (European/Atlantic) biogeographically.

Re: Morocco
Thanks all for your comments and the links.
I've already been! It was a wonderful city break to Marrakech over my birthday. I had a lovely day in the Ourika Valley in the Atlas Mountains and saw quite a lot. I just wondered if all I saw or may have seen was in any literature I already have.
Best wishes,
Lee
