Peacock question

I think I am right in saying that there is only one brood of peacocks per year. Do they spend all of summer/autumn fattening up to survive winter or do they mate as well? Or is all the mating left until next spring?

What sort of courtship do peacocks have?

as far as i know theres only one brood of peacocks per year, susie, as for coutship, er courtship, mean, not sure on that

Thanks Les. I only asked cos two peacocks which visit here on a daily basis seem to have paired up (at least they always seem to be together) and it seemed odd.
