Could someone recomend a butterfly book

I would like to pick up a butterfly book that is easy to read and is probably best described as a field guide. The points that I would like covered are as follows;
British Butterflies only.
Gives info and maps on distribution
Foodplants.
Time of year to be seen
Photo of each butterfly
Photo of caterpillar would be a bonus but not necessary.
General coments on scarcity and whether populations are on the up or down.

I have a copy of Robert Gooddens British Butterflies A Field Guide which I acquired, (forgot to take back) from the libarary as a youngster. It covers most of what I would like but suspect that it may now be out of date in terms of populations and scarcity.

A British Moth book would also be useful if you could recomend one aswel

As a field guide, you can't go wrong with "Britain's Butterflies" from WildGuides:

For moths I'd recommend the "Concise Guide to the Moths of Great Britain and Ireland" by Townsend and Waring.
