Yes - I have this book and it's a classic work. Unfortunately, there is no single source for all named aberrations. Also - there are publications that are comprehensive with regard to a particular area - such as an entire book on Chalkhill Blue aberrations!Rogerdodge wrote:Particularly good for Ab fans (Pete?).
The only book in print is "Variation in British Butterflies" by A.S. Harmer. However, you can get secondhand copies of "Aberrations of British Butterflies" (Russwurm) and "Varieties of British Butterflies" (Frohawk). However, none of these are comprehensive - and neither are web resources (i.e. the Natural History Museum "Cockayne" database). Unfortunately.
