Thanks David, I decided today to go to Seasalter and try my luck there, Glad I did :D

At first when I got to Seasalter the sky was cloudy and I couldn't see any thing flying ,exception being the Green Veined Whites which I couldn't count there was so many. I waited for about half an hour hoping the the Sun would arrive, it did finally and that's when I saw some thing Orange on the move, it was so fast but when it landed I took a Quick shot and only when I got home did I find it was a Wall Butterfly, I didn't expect that surprise :D I've been going to SS for a number of years and it's the first I've seen there.

It was followed by the Small Heath which always seemed to fly into the Long Grass so limited photos of of them, then I spotted a flash of Blue and saw my first Common Blue :D this was followed by the Brown Argus, I managed to get a shot of both together so in total not a bad Morning :D about time too :D Goldie :D

Thanks Neil, yes I've been out nearly every day whilst the weather was warm :D

I went to Monkton NR today and the Common Blue were out in force there, in fact they were the only Butterflies you could take shots of, I saw a few Brimstone but they never landed near enough ,lots of Whites but that was all.

I was content with the Blues especially when I spotted the Female CB, ( at least I'm hoping it's Female :D I get mixed up with the Brown Argus at times  )

The weathers due to change this week-end so at least I've got some thing before it does ,I went to Monkton because they said the Green Hair Streak had been seen there ,I'm not sure about that now has a woman told me she'd taken a shot of one and told me where to look , she also showed me the shot on her phone, it turned out to be a Brimstone   Goldie :D

Splendid Common Blues, Goldie, and that is indeed a female - and she's a lovely one too. :) You can see she has some blue on her wings, and the main thing about Brown Argus is that they never have any blue scales at all.

Cheers,

Dave
