As various shops have started stocking Christmas decorations and as the Winter Social has been mentioned it's obviously that time of year to set the burner going, pour a glass of your favoured libation and have a look back at the 2024 Butterfly season (even though it's still progressing for some of us
). Next Sunday the Favourite Butterfly Photo threads begin!The first three species (Adonis Blue, Black Hairstreak and Brimstone) will be released next Sunday but please could I ask that everyone waits until a topic has been opened by me for a particular species before posting photos as then it will be easier to keep track of things? Of course our overseas members are very welcome to fill in the obvious gaps relating to rare UK migrants. Also feel free to include any stages of the life-cycle. As in previous years details of locations, dates, times and circumstances would be most welcome as would any accompanying stories and anecdotes or other observations of behaviour and interesting other points.
