North American butterflies ID

Post by Bertl »

Photographed these butterflies on a trip to Houston in 2019.
Assuming one is the monarch butterfly but not sure what the others are.

Hi Berrt.

The first butterfly is a gray hairstreak, Strymon melinus. Then monarch, Danaus plexippus, common snout, Libytheana carinentas, little yellow, Pyrisitia lisa, and another monarch.
