Hi all. I'm currently in Kefalonia and have a couple of Graylings giving me a headache. Any advice on id would be very much appreciated.
Freyer's? going on date alone which counts out Tree or something else? (Eastern Rock?)
Eastern Grayling? Southern Grayling? Grayling itself doesn't occur in Greece or the Ionian Islands as far as I am aware.
Many thanks for any assist
Steve

Re: Kefalonia Graylings
Hi
I am not an grayling expert, but I would call the first 2 Balkan Grayling (Hipparchia senthes) and the last 4 for Delattin´s Grayling ( Hipparchia volgensis)

After a closer look in my books, acording to Pamperis, senthes has not been reported from Kefalonia, so the first 2 must be female volgensis and the last 4 volgensis male
