Not the usual butterfly image/shot from me here, but something a little different (for me).
Whilst tracking a very nice "blue type" fresh female Common Blue recently, i took this shot of her.
I could see other Common Blues(4 of them) starting to settle down to roost behind her, so in order to get those also in the shot, i crouched down real low. I also wanted a part of the blue sky in the shot, an since i was on a steep incline(looking up) i put the camera down low, took just 2 images, then she flew off.
It was only later(when i loaded the pic up on my PC) that i could also see a Caterpillar (on the stem below the female) so that was a bonus.

I did capture an egg laying female (plus egg) on the day though.
