Hi,
Feels good to get the first of these out for the year.
Saw this one today. It flew under a blade of straw-like old grass and didn't mind me slowly lifting the straw up to take a snap. Its hiding technique reminded me a little of our ginger tom's who thinks if he can't see me then I can't see him.
It reminded me a bit of a sycamore key, being about 5 times wider than it was long, although I'm not sure it always rests in this position with wings fully outstretched.
I'd say approaching 2 cm in width.
Any help with ID gladly received as always.
Ta muchly.
