Common Blue

Sorry to be posting asking such an obvious question again. Pretty sure this is a Common Blue? Not sure photo is clear enough for anyone to confirm. Seen on Wild Carrot on cliff edges.

Certainly looks like Common Blue, Deborah. It's definitely not Brown Argus and you're too far north for Chapman's Blue.

Thanks David. I think I find the blues so difficult as I so rarely see anything other than a Holly Blue here. Whenever I do see something obviously NOT a HB I’m always at a loss!
Perhaps I need to spend some time on the South Coast of the UK to get used to Blues in all their glory :D

Keep your eyes peeled, Deborah. There might be Long Tailed Blues round your way too! :)
