Large Tortoiseshell?

Post by Deborah »

With all the excitement about Large Tortoiseshell in sightings I was scrolling back through my photos (looking for something completely unrelated to butterflies) and found this that I took on the 17th March in my porch. On second and third look last night I began to wonder....? Can someone tell me I’m right. Very prepared to be wrong :D

Hi Deborah. This is a large tortoiseshell - no doubt.

Brilliant :D Thanks everyone! I suppose it’d be cheating to try and post retrospectively in March Sightings!?
