I should also add that this book is out before its original date if I'm not mistaken?
Wasn't it originally scheduled for October/November 2019?
All the better if it's early - we can all get stuck into it right away.

Re: Life Cycles of British and Irish Butterflies
Thanks Neil, Mark, Guy, Pete, David, Peter, Neil, Dave, Wurzel and Paul!
My understanding is that books will be sent out to supporters on Thursday (pre-publication purchases a little later), so will probably arrive early next week, or this weekend given a good tailwind.
Yes - the book is ahead of schedule - thanks to a delay in another publication due out, the team at NatureBureau had spare capacity, so I thought I'd leap at the chance of getting my book out ASAP!
So who's going to be the next author from UKB?
Cheers,
- Pete

I'm pretty sure my postman thinks I've just bought a Pitbull puppy as he almost lost his fingers in my letterbox this morning.
Beautiful book, rammed with 400 pages of informative text and great photos. I can't wait to get my teeth into it! Thanks for your dedication Pete - it really shows in the final product

Outstanding. Many, many congratulations Pete! I've learnt something interesting every time I've sat down today and browsed my new favourite butterfly book. And the pictures are flawless. I will be constantly referring to my 'Eeles' from now on, and not just for information about the early stages.

Re: Life Cycles of British and Irish Butterflies
Would just like to say I received it this morning and I can't put it down! It's truly a masterpiece! Anyone and everyone should have a copy! What you've done is make me appreciate all the life stages of the butterfly not just the usual adult winged form! They are little miracles butterflies aren't they? Well all of Nature is really but butterflies are special. From a tiny egg which comes in a variety of colours, shapes and sizes, to the amazing and many instars of the growing larva or caterpillar, to those beautiful pupal creations housing and protecting the final stage in a butterfly's life the amazing winged adult which we all know and love! A book I will treasure forever
