I started my Butterfly watching after the year they bred at Samphire Hoe, so still haven't managed to catch up with an LTB (A couple of failed trips to Newhaven Tide Mills)
I'm down South with work one day this week so thought I might have an opportunity as there have been reasonable numbers reported...
Wheres my best bet? Lancing Railway Station/Asda Car Park had been mentioned...but is there anywhere else recommended i might succeed in a single day trip with little local knowledge (I'm from oop north)

Hi Jason
Lancing Station is the most reliable, but it's a binocular job through the security fence. Primary immigrant adults are tricky to track down, but the eggs are easy. Seeing adults will be much easier when the UK brood hatches in late September and October.
