I wondered if anyone can help to identify these two little chaps who I photographed this morning. I thought the second one might be just a worn out old meadow brown on his last legs, but perhaps I'm completely wrong..? Butterfly or moth...? I'm too much of a novice to tell. The location where they were photographed was in a wildflower meadow right beside the sea in the north east of England.
Does anyone know what either of them are..?
Thanks.
help with identification please....

Top one is a female Small Skipper, you're right with the other one, a male Meadow Brown living out his twilight days
