Wandering idly through the BBC news website, I discovered that the Ulster Bank is introducing new notes next year. Aside from the unusual fact that they will be in a vertical format, the design of both the £5 and £10 features a butterfly: this would appear to be a Cryptic Wood White, which of course is the only species found in Northern Ireland that cannot be seen in the rest of the UK. The drawing is a bit stylised, but still recognisable.
