Re: July 2008 Competition Entries
Dammit, I've had some glorious opportunities this month and I can't make up my mind. But there's something about this large white female that just keeps drawing me back so I'm going for this one.
Sony A700, 70-210 F4 'Beercan' zoom, 1/320, F8, iso200, Av mode, hand held, natural light, image stabilisation on, pattern metering.

Nothing arty, so nil points. I'm not sure I could improve on nature.

Re: July 2008 Competition Entries
I'm starting to get out after a long slow recovery from an Achilles tendon injury (going for a sympathy vote!) and it's just great to be taking pictures again!
My entry is this Comma, my best picture of the year so far.

Re: July 2008 Competition Entries
Sorry folks - but this comp. will end on 2nd August, and not 5th ... since I'm off on hols for a couple of weeks and need to set up the poll before I leave (I'm not sure if they have the Internet where I'm headed!).
