Re: New conservation project
Amazing. I hadn't heard of it until I saw a mention in today's "Sunday Times".
But despite thorough search through the website, I'm still unable to find anything about the timetable. I must be overlooking things like planned opening dates, etc.
I wear a cynic's hat now. How is this going to be so very different from places like (the now closed) Syon Park?

According to theTelegraph http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/main.j ... fly112.xml
the timescale is the project will open in June next year and be completed in 2011.
I have visited Clive Farrell's own garden and magnificient habitat creation schemes ( on a grand scale!) in Dorset on many occasions over teh years and I have been both impressed and inspired by what has been done there. I really do look forward to the opening of Butterfly World and hope it will lead to a greater understanding and sympathy for the needs of butterflies and moths.
