Re: David M

A mouthwatering selection of species, David, it would be good to see just a few of those. That's a lovely shot of the roosting Black-veined Whites and the Spanish fritillary is a stunner :D

Re: Trevor

A wonderful display of shots in your diary, especially since May began, Trevor :) It's really hard to single any out as they're all amazing, but if I had to, it would be the Dukes and the Walls  not forgetting the Grizzled Skipper which I've yet to see this year

Cheers, Wurzel, I hope that Five Rivers has come good for you now. Thanks, David, we'll miss the French species too. I certainly agree with you regarding the Peacock though. We did have a nice selection of French species in our garden, Trevor. It's harder here in the UK as you have to go out looking...

Re: Maximus

It's hard to believe that it's been over a year since I last posted in my personal diary! We've now sold our house in France and are back in the UK. Like everyone else we've had to endure the (seemingly) endless winter, which has been one of the wettest on record too. That was until this week when w...

Re: April 2023

First Orange-tip of the year here this afternoon, a male. It was settled on an Honesty flower and I went to get my wife so that she could see it too, which she did, but then it never settled again so no shots. Also a Holly Blue late on which didn't settle. Fantastic weather here today and it looks s...
