I shot this in may ,Avlaki Corfu. any ideas , slightly larger than a small copper. upper wings as far as i could see where all orange

Went in search of Pearls yesterday/today at Eyarth Rocks near Ruthin north wales , saw about 10 yesterday and maybe 20+ today plenty of cloud in between sunny periods helped keep them low down to photograph. a few peacocks, small torts and speckled woods about and cinnabar moths also Phil https://fa...

does sound at lot different to monday when i visited , presume alot more people on the tuesday upsetting them ? they where still grounding well after 4 pm along the main track monday.

Went to Arnside knott yesterday , most dark greens looking tatty now, only a couple High browns seen. loads of grayling on the shale pathes and a few northern brown argus on heathwaite meadow. but 2 freshley emerged Scotch Argus seen :D http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7259/7617429272_a675ab82f3_z.jpg

went to Arnside knot , loads of dark green fritts, smll pearls,grayling everywhere! in heathwaite meadow , meadow browns and quite a few northern brown argus. but only one High Brown Fritillary seen in 9 hours looking!!!!!! but WOW! Took a trip to irton this morning , only 2 very battered mountain ringlets in the first low section, but higher up towards whinn rigg loads newly emerged specimens and the area between the 2 summit cairns on iillgill head saw 6 at once! in total over well over 50 seen! great day watching them .but v...

Just got back from Gaitbarows in cumbria, Dukes are flying , only 2 individuals seen though , and 1 orange tip,large white and numerous peacocks/spec woods.

i was wondering about northern/temperature, but wyre forest not really north, the north wales specimens pete has seen in previous years are normal looking , he said he would not have recognised this as a pbf.

i have replaced image with another one, single frame. there was a slight difference in stack at one edge.
