New species for Scotland

I knew White Letter Hairstreaks had been seen in Scotland, but now Gatekeepers have made it north of the border, with a handful seen in Dumfries and Galloway this year:

In 2023 I found feeding damage to elm leaves that looked WLH-like at Linlithgow, about halfway from the Borders to Dundee.

I've started looking at elms for WLH-like feeding damage in Scotland and it seems very common, so presumably there are other things that create similar damage. Looking forward to investigating for larvae in the spring.
