I'm happy to join you in scepticism, Jack, as I can see what you're getting at.
Something really doesn't look right there.
Orange Tips do vary in size of course (I've seen one as small as a Small Heath and several extra large ones too), but the whole composition looks somehow unnatural to my eye even if I set aside my inherent dislike of butterfly photographs with no background!
(PS - the Glanville photo below it looks bizarre to me too.
I know - I'm probably a photographic philistine...)
