Meadow Browns .

Post by Allan.W. »

Set off early this morning ,to look for Wartbiter Cricket at Lydden /Temple Ewell ,they were re-introduced a few years back after disappearing
in the late 70,s( I Think !) they,re little devils to locate and as yet i,ve still to find one !
Came in at the Temple Ewell end with the idea to wander down to they,re known area at Lydden ................a fair walk ! So i changed tack and stayed at Temple Ewell ,the first butterflies were on the wing around 7.15 am ,mainly Meadow Browns . I find them very obliging and approachable at this time of the morning ................heres a small selection of what i found

Fair play, Allan, you're finding heaps of unusual looking butterflies lately.
