Aberrant Small Tortoiseshell

I was just reviewing some video I took of butterflies in the garden in the summer of 2014, when I did a double-take at a particular Small Tortoiseshell individual. It is clearly that species...but the hindwing spots are in the same pattern as a Large Tort!
Has anyone come across this before?
