Plenty of comma on my short local walk / patch. 5 yesterday and 3 today also a few peacocks and brimstone.Putting the Sigma 150 lens to use in the weather window

Comma definitely gets the "butterfly of the day" award from me in central Lincolnshire today! Double figures in my local woods. Lovely to see these out in good numbers.

I always enjoy my encounters with the Comma. When I moved to Lincolnshire as a young teenager in 1978 this species was virtually unknown in our county. Now it is commonplace, but I never take it for granted!
