Sunday 13th April featured an unusual phenomenon this spring - it rained during the afternoon (though not very much). This did mean that butterfly activity was confined to the morning, and with almost all their appearances being in the afternoons I failed to see a Red Admiral for the first time since the last week of March.

I think the Peacock was completely unaware of the camouflaged spider just below it on the fence.
