First butterfly observations next to butterfly monitoring camp in Bukovcevo.
Archiearis parthenias first appearing is today, 23 March 2015
Also several adults of Nymphalis xanthomelas on wings registered

The Leucojum Vernum I have in my garden, the Large Tortoiseshell I don't !. It is one of my lifetime
ambitions to see one in England.

The most endangered butterfly habitat in SW Ukraine is natural raised peat bog with Andromeda polifolia plant.
