Indeed.

Weren't Black-veined Whites once considered an orchard pest? Is it possible the same attitude hastened their demise as a UK species? (I'm not suggesting shotguns were involved... )

This year I am delighted to see a pair of the birds regularly visiting a feeder in my garden

When I lived in Kent last year, a real garden highlight was a pair Bullfinches eating dandelion seeds in my front garden.
